David Norman, on April 29, 2024, age 81, of Haddon Township. David was the beloved husband of Yoshin for 52 years, father of Linda (Adam Dorsey) and Elizabeth (Justin Quinn) and Grandfather of James Quinn. David loved his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He had a humble, loving and compassionate servant’s heart as he interacted with others and shared the love of Jesus. David has been a member of Tenth Presabyterain Church in Philadelphia for forty years. A devoted father, David showed warmth and gentleness, with purpose, in his relationships with his daughters. His grandson brought him much joy. David fondly anticipated interactions with his family and friends David was raised in Deptford Township. He was the youngest of six children born to Howard and Edith Swank. He is survived by many nieces,nephews and three sistersin- law on both the East and West Coasts and in Texas. After graduating from the King’s College in NY, David was employed with DCP&P(child protective services) where he met Yoshin. Together , they prepared for careers in social work by completing graduate degrees at the University of Pennsylvania. David retired as a social worker. Friends and family were invited to attend his celebration of life at the DuBOIS FUNERAL HOME; 700 South White Horse Pike, Audbon. Interment private .
