HMHS Athletic HOF to Induct a Dozen
The Haddonfield Memorial High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct 12 new members. The induction ceremony and dinner is 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at Tavistock Country club.

The Camden County outdoor track and field championships took place Saturday at Haddon Township High School, and once the final results were tallied, the Haddonfield Memorial Bulldogs won both small division titles.
AHS, HTHS in SJ Group 1 Spotlight
Replacing a legend is never easy, but Mark Petito is up to the challenge. Petito was recently named the Haddon Township girls basketball coach. He replaced Tom Mulligan, who resigned after the season, ending a 32-year run. Mulligan had 641 career wins and built the Hawks into one of the most respected programs in South Jersey.

Being Inducted
Haddon Township’s Crew Club made the short trip into Philadelphia last weekend for the City Championships and returned home with two golds. The boys novice and girls novice boats finished first in their respective races. Kate Gasiorowski, Marley Thomas, Marie Brown, and Leia Gerber were all part of the winning girls novice quad.
The spring college sports season is winding down and several athletes from The Retrospect coverage area are busy setting records, helping their teams win championships, and earning individual awards.
A Perfect Outing
Joey Loperfido can now officially call himself a big league player. The Haddonfield Memorial and Duke University grad got called up by the Houston Astros this week and started his first game on Tuesday night versus the Cleveland Guardians.
Last season, Collingswood was among the more improved baseball programs in South Jersey. The Panthers went 15-11 overall and earned a share of the Colonial Conference Patriot Division title with Gloucester, when both finished 4-2.
